General Terms and Conditions for Passenger Transportation

  1. Price Agreements and Additional Costs

1.1 Price agreements are only valid for the specified route and travel duration. If the actual distance traveled due to reasons attributable to the customer or passengers exceeds the specified route or if required by safety requirements or traffic necessities, the additional kilometers will be charged. Regardless of the vehicle category, costs of up to a maximum of 0.90 EUR per kilometer may apply.

  1. Orders

2.1 The customer must place orders at least 12 hours before the start of the journey via email. For shorter notice, TAXI 206000 will try to arrange the desired transfer but cannot guarantee the transfer at the exact desired time. Orders with shorter notice must consider that TAXI 206000 is based in Innsbruck and therefore must consider the travel duration to the pickup location.

2.2 The order must contain at least the following information: pickup location, pickup date and time, destination, number of passengers, and special requests.

  1. Cancellations

3.1 In case of cancellation of a previously booked trip by the customer:

  • No cancellation fees will be charged if the cancellation occurs at least 12 hours before the start of the journey.
  • For cancellations between 12 hours and 6 hours before departure, 50% of the fare will be charged.
  • For cancellations less than 6 hours before departure, 100% of the fare will be charged.
  • In case of no-show (after 10 minutes from the agreed pickup date and time), 100% of the fare will be charged.

3.2 Cancellations must be made via email and the time will be calculated based on the receipt of the message.

3.3 TAXI 206000 is not liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond their control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, or other acts of God.

  1. Delays and Waiting Time

4.1 On the agreed pickup date and time, the waiting time for delays of the passenger or customer is free for the first 10 minutes. If possible, TAXI 206000 will extend the waiting time and charge 25.00 EUR for every half hour started.

  1. Liability

5.1 TAXI 206000 is liable for the timely provision of the ordered ready-to-use vehicles or the ordered seats, unless there are circumstances that could not be avoided despite all reasonable measures by TAXI 206000. TAXI 206000 is not liable for claims from passengers who do not return to the vehicle on time during intermediate stops, according to the departure time announced by the driver. TAXI 206000 is also not liable for claims from passengers who must be left behind because they do not carry the necessary personal documents (valid passport, visa, etc.) for international travel. Similarly, there is no liability for the delayed arrival at the intermediate stop or destination.

  1. Number of Passengers

6.1 Vehicles may only be occupied with the number of passengers for which they are approved.

  1. Luggage and Personal Belongings of Passengers

7.1 Each passenger may carry and keep at their own risk items that they can easily store in their own seating area without bothering other passengers (hand luggage). Travel luggage must be closed and clean in such a way that the contents are protected against loss, damage, or reduction and do not damage or soil the vehicle. Dangerous, bulky, wet, or otherwise unusual luggage may be excluded from transport. Travel luggage will only be transported according to the available storage space and payload. The passenger must ensure that their luggage is loaded. We are not responsible for luggage that disappears after being unloaded from the vehicle. Likewise, we decline any responsibility for luggage that remains in the vehicle overnight or is forgotten. For loss, damage, or reduction of the transported luggage during transport, TAXI 206000 is liable under the applicable regulations for road transport, particularly the provisions of the Commercial Code regarding the rights and duties of a carrier and the provisions of the Civil Code. In case of liability, TAXI 206000 compensates up to the proven amount of damage, but not more than 55.00 EUR per passenger. There is no liability for improperly packed, damaged, or unopened luggage, nor for money and valuables.

  1. Passenger Conduct

8.1 Passengers are expected to behave appropriately and must follow the driver’s instructions during the trip. Disruptive behavior can lead to the termination of the trip without refund.

  1. Animals

9.1 Animals that can be transported without danger or inconvenience to passengers may be carried with the consent of TAXI 206000 (with prior notification).

  1. Driver Rest Periods

10.1 Drivers are required to comply with the prescribed rest periods during their driving services.

  1. Complaints

11.1 Complaints regarding defects in the execution of the order must be reported in writing on this form to avoid the loss of claims for reduction or compensation.

  1. Payments

12.1 Payments must be made as agreed upon at the time of booking.

12.2 At the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed, a deposit of 20% of the trip cost must be made. The balance due must be paid directly to the driver at the beginning of the booked trip. Payments can be made in cash or by credit card.
